Decimals

Today in class we were doing decimals. At the beginning of learning decimals many questions came up like What is a decimal? When I saw the place value chart I went what?!?!? I was totally confused. Today when the teacher showed me the place value chart I understand that chart because she explains very slowly and it makwles sense.

Science Experiment

      Today in my class we did a science expiration and it was fun! There was a thing where water came out of it and we will see if the longer time you put water erodes more of the less time one. At first I thought all the water will gush down like a river but in real life it just went  slowly. I was confused of what was happening. As the experiment was continued and the water to go from was fixed it made more sense which one would erode more quickly.  This experiment was fun!

Adding And Multiplying Fraction

In class we are adding and multiplying fractions and it is fun. At first I was confused about how you were supposed to model fractions. Are you supposed to do this or that? It was hard, but when I got more used to it I understood what it means. I learned how to model it and now it is fun. Now when we are doing fractions it is easy to do my work. I am looking forward to do more!

Reading

In reading we are studying about a nonfiction topic. I am studying about volcanoes. At first when we had to think of ideas I was confused what topic I should do because if I don't like it I will still have to stick with what that topic. So I was worried, when I found the perfect topic of  volcanoes. I was so interested to research about volcanoes and I knew nothing about it. Now when I am reading the books it tells me so much information. I did not pick a hard topic!

FRACTION TEST

I had a fraction test and it went well. At first I was so worried that a questions stared popping out of my brain like , am I going to pass the test? Another question that I  was thinking that if this is the same as this? The last one is did I do this wrong? I was so nervous to do the test but at last I passed the test.

Valentine's Day Blog

 

 Today is February 14 and that means it is valentines day! This blog is to appreciate my friends who are nice to me, for example my friends Hana , Addy , Isabella and much,much more. I appreciate my friends because if I am stuck on something, our something happens to me I can always tell them. They everyday make me laugh and it is kind of fun. It is so nice to have friends. I mostly appreciate because my friends are fun to play with. I had a great valentines day! 

Camp-In

Camp-in was fun! The first part was in IMU, where we did different games. The first game was when our group tied our thumbs together and we had to make a 1 meter tower out of news paper. In this game we learned about the word BUSS ( how to work well together). After that we had a set of tasks and we had to finish it in ten minutes. We got a point on each task. In that we learned about MCD'S(time management). When we finished we went outside where I learned about STEP( problem solving). That's what we learned in IMU. The next day (Friday) after our sleep, I was confused about what we were going to do. The teacher asked us to do clay pieces about the day before and I did the scooter that we rode on after we came from IMU. It was fun!
